Group Chief Financial Officer
Joshua is an experienced finance and operations professional with 14 years of expertise in the financial services industry.
Joshua began his career initially with Credit Suisse where he operated as a fund accountant catering to large globally recognised hedge funds, he then moved on to work as a finance manager for a specialty commodity trading company where he was charged with developing the financial and operational infrastructure in preparation for an exit.
Joshua moved on to KPMG where he developed his skills in external audit and consulting, working with a diverse range of clients operating in various facets of financial services, including; private equity, venture capital, real estate, banking, and technology.
During his time at KPMG, he was instrumental in delivering high-quality audit and advisory services, helping clients improve their financial performance and meet their regulatory obligations.
Joshua’s passion for private equity and venture capital led him to specialise in this area. He has worked with leading private equity and venture capital firms, where he gained extensive experience in deal structuring, due diligence, and portfolio management.
Joshua is now the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of AHR Australia. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting functions of the firm, including financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, treasury, and cash management.
Joshua plays a crucial role in developing and implementing the firm’s financial strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the overall business objectives.
Joshua is known for his strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, he is committed to continuous professional development and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a globally recognised professional accounting body.
